Brief:  Explore the trend forecasting industry and present findings.
Solution: Create Tomorrow, a trend sampler launched by WGSN to inspire those creative moments. Distributing out to creative studios to promote their memberships, the sampler will give an insight into the industry as well as discussing how WGSN can benefit your business. Inside, will be a sneak peak of the latest forecasted trends, to get you started.
Create Tomorrow trend samplers will be distributed triennially across the UK to creative agencies looking to find out more about what WGSN has to offer. Each trend has been taken from WGSN digitized trend books and created in a simple, tactile way so users can visualise the time line of the forecasted trends.
Taken from existing WGSN promotional material, the sampler is separated into time frames, Now, New and Next. Plotting in time, these words create stability as each trends life cycle changes around them. Each divider marks a future year: Now 2019, New 2020, Next 2021, discussing up and coming global trends and Pantone colours.
With WGSN existing on a membership basis and the trend sampler issued to large agencies, Create Tomorrow will launch a digital blog coinciding with each sampler edition. Accessible to all, from students to freelance creatives. Those who cannot afford the membership can now access the selection of trends to spark those creative moments.
Although a digital brand, Create Tomorrow posters will be displayed across major cities to promote the brand and create interest in print form. Pasting the posters allows adaptability as new trends emerge and are forecasted.
